Auxiliary view

The command Auxiliary view allows an auxiliary projection to be created in a reference view.

Creation stages:

Click the icon or select the command View > Auxiliary view... from the drop-down menu.

Auxiliary view:

Select the reference view to be used (selection from dynamic view or in drop-down menu). If the plan only contains a main view, this selection is not necessary, it is done automatically.

Select the Set to project. Usually, we use the same set than the set projected in the main view, but for some TopSolid'Mold needs, it is possible to use another set.

Select the view style to use here: normal view style (default style) or a customized view style.

This option allows to create an auxiliary view of the opposed view of the reference view. If the reference view is the top view, the auxiliary view will be in this case the bottom view..

  • Align: Allows to have auxiliary view always aligned to the main view. If the main view is moved, then the auxiliary view moves to stay aligned to the main view.

  • Fix: Allows to desactivate alignment between auxiliary view and main view and also to fix the view to a position given when it is created. If the main view is moved, then the auxiliary view stays at the creation positioning.

  • Follow: Allows to desactivate alignment between auxiliary view and main view but also to fix position relative to the main view. If the main view is moved, then the auxiliary view will also be moved.
