Graphic Cut

 

 

 

This command allows you to set the viewing attributes of the graphical cut temporarily created in the Angle Pin, Angular Pin Pocket, Slide Joint commands.  

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Choose the Mold > Graphic Cut... command from the Options tree of a Mold document.

 

  1. Define the wanted settings.

  2. Validate .

 

Modifications / Additional information:

 

 

  • Cut color: The cut planes on the part will be of the specified color.

  • Cut hatches: These options allow you to define the type and orientation of the hatchings displayed on the faces of the cut parts.

  • Display cut:
    If this option is not checked, the faces parallel to and behind the cutting plane are not displayed. The parts are hollow as if they were surfaces.
    If this option is checked, the 2 options below are ungrayed, and the cut can be displayed with the chosen color and hatching.

    • Use shapes color: If this option is checked, the cut planes color defines upper will not be used. The cut faces color will be the part color.

    • Automatic hatching: If this option is checked, the hatch orientation defined upper will not be taken in account. Hatches will be oriented ramdomly (very useful in an assembly).

  • Display cut edges: When the command is validated, the cut faces edges are thickened to visualize them properly.
