Multi Cavity

This command allows you to repeat Core cavity blocks and brought elements in order to create a multi cavity mold.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Click the icon or select Mold > Multi cavity... command from the drop-down menu.

 

  1. Choose a repetition pattern.

  2. Select the core cavity blocks to repeat.

  3. And choose the brought elements to repeat.

 

 

If brought elements to repeat need to have a heel, you need to create it with the Heel command before create the multi cavity, especially if the upper or lower blocs are monoblock type blocks.

 

 

Available options:

 

 
  • Pattern: It is possible to choose an existing pattern in the document, or create one from the "special inputs" . In addition to the generic patterns of repetition, it is possible to create a Core cavity block pattern.
  • Core cavity blocks: A selection filter allows you to select only blocks. If the Core cavity block pattern is chosen, the reference block used to create this pattern is automatically selected.
  • Hide: This option allows you to hide the selected entities during the command, in order to select more easily other entities, especially those that were behind the first ones.
  • Monoblock block: This option allows you to create only one cavity and/or core block. On their side, the brought elements will be well repeated.
  • Brought elements: the eventual inserts created from the split are automatically pre-selected with the linked block.

 

 

Repeat elements to mold: This option allows you to choose to repeat or not the molded shape with shrinkage.

 

 

Modifications / Additional information:

 

 

In case of symmetrical repetition, the software will automatically offer you to create the mirror parts of the blocks and brought elements.
