Edit Hatching Lines

This command allows you to edit the hatching of a part in order to modify them.

In general, the hatchings come from the choice of material, but in certain cases, a manual modification is necessary (spacing, angle, type of hatchings, ...).

Possibility to use a user hatching.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Select the popup command Hatching > Edit... from the hatching to modify.

 

  1. You can modify them globally in the draft (by selecting Part) or only in the selected view (by selecting Hatching Area).

  2. Select the different hatching settings to modify.

  3. Validate.

 

 

By default, hatches are defined regarding the material of the part.

  • If the Part option is used, all hatchings of this part, in all views, will be modified.

  • If the Hatching Area option is used, all the hatchings of this part, in this view, will be modified.

  • If the Part and Hatching Area options are used, all views will be modified with the hatchings defined for this part, except the view that will have its own definition.

 

 

Available Options:

 

 

 

  • Type

This option allows to select a hatch type for this part.

 

  • Display:

This option allows you to modify the spacing and orientation of hatchings.

 

  • Offset:

This option allows you to add an X and Y offset.

 

  • Color:

This option allows you to the color of hatchings.

 

 

Uncheck the different options to restore the hatchings that came from the material.

 

When there are only spacings and angles to change on all views (parts with the same material close to each other), use the Auto Hatching command.
