Edit component

This command allows you to edit component in a mold base become modifiable. If the mold base is not modifiable, the command is not available.

Creation stages / Use:

Click the icon or select Mold > Mold Base > Edit component... command from the drop-down menu.

Select the component to edit.
Validate your choice.
It is possible to modify the wizard parameters used to insert the component in the mold base template assembly.

This function can be used only if the mold base will be severely modified. If you need to modify locally one component, prefer use the Extract for modification command.

Available options:

It is possible to modify the chosen component Wizard, its family, its code... it is also possible to modify its positioning and its dimensioning.

Modifications / Additional information:

During the component edition, the modifiable mold base template document is open.
The template document is automatically closed after the command validation.
If the change in the component needs to change its process, it must be created from the mold, with the function Use Process (from the text menu).
