Predefined draft |
This command allows to create a predefined draft from a family, to be able to use this draft for each instance of this family.
Creation stages:
When the draft of the virtual document is finished (views and dimensions), click the icon or select the Tools > Predefined draft ... command from the drop-down menu.
Check Predefined draft and select the set to project.
Validate by clicking .
The draft references the family instance but not the one into the assembly. So if user edits the inclusion in the assembly to modify the instance, the draft document will not update. |
The family must have been created. |
Use:
When a family instance is included in an assembly, you just have to use the Others > Predefined draft contextual menu to create its draft. The virtual document initially in the draft will update with this instance values.
This predefined draft is also used when a family is included in an assembly and when this assembly is multi drafted.
