This command allows to create external Parting Surfaces.

Creation stages / Use:

Click the icon or select the Split > Parting Surfaces... command from the drop-down menu.

1. Choose the expected Mode to use:

• Extension : Allows to "extrude" Parting Edges in a given direction.

• Planar : Allows to create "flat" surfaces.

• Loft Without Guide : Allows to create surfaces between 2 profiles / edges.

• Loft With Guides : Allows to create surfaces with guides and generatrix profiles / edges.

2. Once done, validate .

• During their validation, the Parting Surfaces are automatically assigned to the Parting Surfaces set in the Entity tree.
• Surface attributes can be determined by the Parting surface set.
