Translation transform

 

 

 

 

This command moves a shape element a given distance, following a direction.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Click the icon or select the Construction > Transforms > Translation transform... command from the drop-down menu.

 

  • Direction: The translation is following the selected direction.

  1. Select the direction of the transformation.

  2. Enter the translation distance.

  • By two points: The direction and the translation of distance are defined by the 2 selected points.

  1. Select the first point to use.

  2. Select the second point to use.

 

  1. Validate the command with the button
