Processing parts

In the case of component with subcomponents this command allows to choose the subcomponents that you want to use the process in the final assembly document. This process will be automatically used.

Creation stages / Use:

Click the icon or select the Tools > Processes > Processing parts... command from the drop-down menu.

Select the subcomponent that you want to use the process.
Validate the operation with .

Process rules document can be useful for this type of component. It allows to associate a wizard and/or a family with a process.

If the processing parts result from a repetition of parts, and the parts to be operated are the same between two processing parts, it is advisable to use of the Processing parts repetition command (which provides a significant time-saving advantage over using the process in the higher assembly).
To use the Processing parts command with repeated parts, it is advisable to first declare the processing part for the model of the repetition, and then perform the repetition. This way, all instances will be automatically designated as processing parts.

The box allows to hide selected entities during the use of the command, to be able to select other entities more easily, especially those who were behind.

Create always process:

By checking this box, the sub-component processes will always be applied.
