Datum Target Style

This command allows a customized datum target style to be created / modified.

This style will then be able to be used when creating a datum target.

Datum target style means the configuration of the datum target (font, height, style, factor, ...).

Creation stages / Use:

Select the Tools > Styles > Datum Target Style... command from the drop-down menu.

Enter a Name for this new datum target style.
Check Current style to allow this datum target style to be proposed by default when creating a new datum target.
Specify the base style on which to rely to create the new style (the settings of this basic style will be those proposed by default when creating the new style).

The modification of a datum target style used as a basic style by another style will automatically cause the modification of the latter.

You can apply a style by using the command Apply style by a right clicking on a style into the Styles folder of the entities tree,

This command will apply the selected style to all affected items.

Available options:

Allows to define the framing of the note and its line color.

Font: Displays the name and size of the font used. Use the Font cell to activate the button and then modify the settings (font, height and style). The button displays changes.
Unit format: allows to define units, separator, precision, ...
Target frame size factor: allows to define the size of the symbol. This size is the result of the factor you entered multiplied by the height of the font.
Movable symbol size factor: allows to define the size of the movable symbol. This size is the result of the factor you entered multiplied by the height of the font.
Export dimension leader extremity marker type: when the text of the size does not contain in the upper part of the symbol it can be exported (automatically or manually). This option allows to customize the type of end of the arrow.
Color: To use another color, select the color cell and select a new one to use.
Layer: Assign a layer to the element. The layer can be created on the fly by clicking the "+".

Modifications / Additional information:

You can modify an existing datum target style via the entity tree. Display the entity tree and open the Styles > Datum Target Styles folder. Right-clicking a style allows you to edit it.
It is possible to copy/paste a style, in the same document, or in a new document of the same type. If this one is based on a style, it will also be pasted into the new document.
