Default revision texts

This command allows to configure the first text for major and minor revisions when creating a new document.

Creation stages / Use:

Select the Others > default revision texts... contextual command from a project.

Enter the text of the first major revision.
Enter the text of the first minor revision.
Validate.

The text must contain only numbers or letters.

Created documents before the modification of the default revision texts will ignore these modifications. Except the modification of a validated document, an initialized minor revision starts from the new default value (the major revision continues its increment).

Available Options:

Named first major revision

If this option is unchecked, the first validation of a document will not name its revision.

The start text will be applied to the second major revision.

Increment automatically major revision text

If this option is unchecked, text of major revisions will not be incremented after several validations. TopSolid will increment the index only.

After 3 validations, the document will have the following revisions:

Option checked: A B C

Option unchecked: A(0) A(1) A(2)
