You can mix letters, numbers and special characters in the major revision text but the minor revision text should contain only numbers or letters.

This command allows to configure the starting text of major an minor revisions of a selected document.
It is launched from the contextual menu of the document, you have to choose the Others > Revision texts... command.
A dialog box allows you to type the text of the major and minor revision.
