Associate template to

The Construction > Parameters > Associate template to... menu allows you to associate the creation of a derivation, an extruded bar, a mirror part, a partial part (of an angular pin, a baffle, a basic shape, a core cavity block, an electrode, an insert, a pin, a plate and a slide) with a document template, which makes it possible, for example, to associate a specific template to all derived parts.

Creation stages for derivation template:

Create a new part document.
Derive this document thanks to the Tools > Derivations > Derived part function.
Open the operation tree and clear the derivation operation in order to break the link with its base document (right-click on the derivation operation > Clear).
Move this derived document into the Templates folder of the project.
Select a command in the Construction > Parameters > Associate template to... menu to link this template to an operation.
Confirm the association by checking the cell and validate the dialog.
Check-in the document.

The Associate template to menu is only available when the document is located in the project's Templates folder or in a template project (My Templates or Company Templates).
Several functions can be associated with a template. The name of the created template is suffixed with the name of the associated function(s); it will be available when creating a document using this function.
The System Parameters folder of the entities tree will be filled with a boolean parameter whose name if the operation type used as template.
