This command allows you to create a distance parameter depending on the geometries selected..

Creation Stages / Use:

Click on the icon or choose the Construction > Parameters > Distance Parameter... command from the drop down menu.

1. Enter the name of the parameter.

2. Select the first geometry type. (Point, Axis, Plan)

3. Select the first geometry.

4. Select the second geometry type. (Point, Axis, Plan)

5. Select the second geometry.

6. The value is displayed.

7. Check or uncheck Signed Value. This possibility allows displaying the result as an absolute value, or a real value depending on the cases. Example: a point in relation to a plane, the plane's Z is in the opposite direction to the point.
