Text on curve |
This command allows to create a text on a reference curve.
Creation stages / Use:
You can insert a text with methods below:
Text created on insertion or selection of an existing text parameter in the drop-down list.
Create a new Text parameter
Convert a Document parameter to text
Convert the setting of a set into text.
Click the icon or select the 2D sketch > Text on curve... command from the drop-down menu.
Enter the text or specify a type of parameter to use.
Select the curve.
Check Reverse to invert the text around the curve.
Enter the offset between the text and the curve.
Check Profiles or leave it unchecked. If this option is checked, the text becomes a profile (to be able to extrude it or to make a pocket).If it is not checked, the text remains internal to the sketch.

Validate the creation of text.

A text parameter that already exists in the document can be accessed directly from the drop-down menu of the text creation command. In order to reduce the document, you will not find it in the "Document parameter" list. |
Available Options:
Text style:

Select the text style to use here: normal text style (default style) or customized text style. |
Modifications:
To modify an existing text, just select it with a right button and select the Edit command.
