This command allows you to define classes and subclasses of a classification.
Creation stages / Use:
Select the Tools > Class...
command from the drop-down menu of a classification document.
Enter the description of the class and its code if
needed.
A comment can also be entered in the Notes
field.

This command can also be
used with contextual on an existing class to create a subclass.
A subclass can be created
with the contextual menu from an existing class (in the tree
or the entities tree) or by dragging a class onto another
from of the entities tree.

Only the description can
be used with the search tool or to be display in a bill of
material column.
A class or subclass can
only be create if a level exists.
For example, if 3 levels are existing, it is possible to create
several classes on the first level, several subclasses per
class (second level) and several subclasses per sub-class
(third level).
During a sub-class creation,
Subclass and Level fields are automatically
filled.
A subclass is displayed
under a class. It can be shown by unfolding the node "+"
in front of the class.
Classes are displayed in
the Classes folder
of the entities tree.

Modifications / Additional information:
A class can be Edited or Deleted via the contextual menu.
From the Classes folder of the
entities tree, it is also possible to Empty
the folder to delete all classes.
