Injection point

This command allows you to define one or many injection points on your part, without the use of the Plastic Flow analysis wizard.

Creation stages / Use:

Click the icon or choose the command Analysis > Injection point... form the drop-down menu.

Select the shape that will receive the injection point.
Select an existing point, or click on to start the creation point special inputs.
Once the first point created, you can validated if your work is achieved . Or you can click on to add a new point.
Injection point(s) are displayed with a conical symbol, the "end of the cone" indicates the injection direction.

The number of injection point is free.
Sometimes, it's more useful to create the point "outside" and before the injection point creation. We strongly recommend you the use of Point on Shape, or choose the command 3D Sketch > Point on shape...

Modifications / Additional information:

The injection point is created according the current color. Right click on the conical shape, then Attributes to modify its appearance.
You modify the position and the number of injection point with a right click on screen, Edit or form the Operations window of the Plastic Flow Analysis document.
To add a point to the previous creation, click again on the icon , choose the function choose the command Analysis > Injection point... form the drop-down menu.
