Point on shape

This command allows to create a point constrained on a shape.

Creation stages / Use:

Choose the command 3D Sketch > Point on Shape... from the drop down menu.

Select the location of the point by clicking a face or edge of a shape.

The point is constrained onto the selected face and can be move freely through all tangent neighboring faces of the shape. The point cannot be moved beyond sharp edge of the face.

Modifications / Additional information:

You can directly move the point without editing the sketch.
