Standard
Profile Frame |
This command allows you to create a reference
frame, centered on a standard geometry profile.
It stores the information characteristic of
this profile, such as the diameter of a circle for example. It is used
to position and dimension the standard cutting
components.
Creation stages / Use:
Select the Progressive die > Standard
Profile Frame... command from the drop-down menu.
Select the profile on which
to center the frame.

Available options:

Profile: This option allows
you to select the profile to be considered. The created frame
will be in the center of the profile.
Information: This section
displays, for information, the selected profile characteristics
associated with the created frame. For example, for a circular
profile:
Geometry: Circle
Diameter: 4mm
The cutting
components included on this frame will be circular, 4mm in
diameter.
Force dimensions: This option
allows you to force the dimensions associated with the created
frame. The new values associated with the frame are displayed
in the information section.
Round computed dimensions: This
option allows you to round the dimensions associated with
the created frame. The new values associated with the frame
are displayed in the information section.

Activate
Rotation
to turn the frame around its X,Y or Z axis.
- Choose the rotation axis.
- Give the angle.

Check
Extent to
modify dimensions of the frame
- Give the values for each direction.
These values are regarding the frame origin.

- This
section allows to use or define the frame
style.
- You
can define the frame representation, its extremities, the
length and the color of its axes.

Modifications / Additional
information:
- The created frames
are grouped in a Frames folder
in the entity tree.
It is possible
from this folder to edit,
delete, replace,
rename and hide/show
frames using the context menu.
