Drillings table

 

 

 

 

 

This command allows to create a table of all the drillings from a selected view.

This view can only contain a part projection.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Select the Detailing > Drillings table... command from the drop down menu.

 

  1. Select the reference view to use for the table creation.(The drillings on side view are not taken in account)

  2. Select the first point of the table or a segment.

  3. If you have picked a point, select the second point.

  4. If the text in real size option is checked, the column width will be respected and the text will contain line breaks if needed.

  5. Validate by clicking .

 

 

  • By click the upper line of the title block, the table use the same width than the title block.

  • The selected view can be empty, the drillings table will be filled when a part with drillings will be included in the view. It is usefull for document templates.

  • This table can be exported in a csv file or text file.

 

 

  • The drillings table can only be done if the view contains a part projection.
  • It is no possible to create a drilling table from an interrupted view.
    If you interrupt a view that contains a drilling table, it will become invalid.

 

 

Available Options:

 

 

 

  • Style:

Allows to choose a drillings table style.

 

  • Drilling table index:

Allows to choose a drillings table index style.

 

  • As table:

If this option is activated, you hve to select a first point or a segment to define the table position.

By selecting a second point, you can fix the table width.

A new option "Text in real size" allows to keep the text size defined in the style and the text will be displayed in multi-line if it is too long.

 

If this option is deactivated, no table will be created. Only the drillings notes will be displayed on the view.

 

  • Index all the occurences:

By actrivating this option, the drillings recognized as identical on the vuew will be indexed only on one of them.

 

 

 

 

Allows to specify the origin for the coordinates.

  • By selecting a corner of the view or its origin by using the corresponding icon.

  • Or by selecting manually the point on the view.

 

Allows as well to select the origin of the altitudes.

  • By selecting Top or Bottom.

  • Or by selecting manually the origin on another view.

 

 

Allows to select drillings from the view you want to ignore or consider according to the selected mode.  

 

 

 

Allows to cut the table if it is too long and split it in several parts positioned side by side or on other pages of the document.

  • None: No Split

  • Same Page: The split parts of the table are positioned side by side on the same page.

  • Multi Pages:  The split parts of the table are positioned on the other pages of the document.

 

  • Repeat heading:

Allows to repeat the heading of the bill of material.

 

  • Split merged cells:

When several cells are merged, the resulting cell cannot be merged by default.

This option allows you to authorize the splitting of the table on a merged cell.

  • Hook points:

Allows to specify if the hook points correspond with the top or bottom of the table.

 

  • Heading:

Allows to position the title line on bottom or top of the table.

 

  • Reading direction:

Allows the reading direction of the table to be indicated (from bottom to top or from top to bottom).

 

  • Margin width:

Allows you to define the horizontal margin. This is the distance between the vertical border of the cell and the start or end of the text.

 

  • Margin height:

Allows you to define the vertical margin. This is the distance between the horizontal border of the cell and the start or end of the text.

 

  • Heading / Content:

  • Visible: Allows you to control the visibility of the title line.

These two sub-rubricks allow to define:

  • Style : Select the text style to use here: normal style (default style) or a customized style.

  • Line height : the line height can be "Automatic" (it adapts to the content) or "fixed" with a specified value/

 

 

When the height is fixed, it can also be modified with a drag and drop of the upper separation of this line.

 

 

 

 

Modifications:

 

To modify a drillings table, right click on the table and select the command Edit.

 

It is also possible to manually modify the contain and the appearance of the table. To do that, use the "Edit table" contextual command.

 

Margins: Allows you to change the values of all margins of all cells.

 

Edit Text Style: Allows you to modify the text style of the table (Font, Height, ...) of the selected cell.

Edit line properties : Allows to modify the text style and the height of the selected line. If a line height is set to "fixed" mode with a value, it is also possible to modify the height by doing a drag and drop of the upper frontier of the line.

Border Type: Allows you to modify the border type of the selected cell by selecting the type, thickness and color of the lines as well as the borders to modify.

Background Color: Allows you to change the background color of the selected cell.

Make modifiable / Scraping: Allows to change the content of a cell manually. Select the cell then this icon.

The modified cells are shown on a yellow background. This color can be customized in drafting options.

Rotate: Allows to rotate (rotation of 90°) the selected cell content.

Merge Cells: Allows you to merge the selected cells. These cells must be dimension-to-dimension.

Divide Cells: Allows you to dive the selected cell into several cells by adding columns.

Insert Setting: Allows you to add the text setting to the cell.

Insert Image: Allows to insert an image in the selected cell.

  • Select the image.

  • Modify the dimensions if necessary. If the dimensions are greater than the size of the cell, they are not taken into account.

  • Select the horizontal and vertical alignment of the image in relation to the cell.

  • Select the resizing, which allows you to either stretch the image or keep its height/width ratio so that it is not distorted.

Align Top: Allows you to align the contents of the cell to the top.

Centered: Allows you to center the contents of the cell.

Align Bottom: Allows you to allow the contents of the cell to the bottom.
