This command automatically constrains the draft to be included by recognition.

Creation stages / Use:

Click the icon or select the Bundle > Constraint... command from the drop-down menu.

  1.  Select the original geometry.

  2.  Select the destination geometry.

This command will restrict drafts using these constraints: Point on point, Axis on axis, Axis on point, Point on axis and Orientation.

Some of these constraints can be offset by double-clicking on the label value.

  • The goal of these constraints is to position the draft document in the bundle by deleting degrees of freedom. If the drafting is not fully constrained, it can be moved with the mouse.

  • Only translation movements are allowed.

  • Each draft document has its positioning. The positioning of the next drafting is function of the previous one, which means that by moving the first draft, the second will not move dynamically, but will wait until the first draft is in its destination position before being calculated and positioned in order to have very short calculation times. It is possible to include a positioning into another one to move drafts together. There are 2 methods: Either turn on the Include in Last Positioning mode before doing the positioning, or if this is already done, merge them by selecting them from the operations tree (the merge command will be available in the contextual menu).

  • The first included draft is fixed by default. All other included drafts can be positioned with this draft. It is possible to Unfix with the contextual menu.

Modifications / Additional information:

To edit the positioning of the draft, use the Edit Positioning popup menu. The labels are displayed and can be modified.
