In a 'Processes' document, this command allows you to modify the operations to perform in the process.

Creation stages / Use:

This modification command is only available from the popup menu, shape or Operator folder of the entity tree.

• Collisions:    Automatic. This option allows you to automatically detect martyred parts (those that will undergo operations).

• Part: When a part is placed on another, TopSolid does not detect a collision. By unchecking this option, it will also be possible to manage this case like for example, a plate with drilling processes, which is placed on another plate about to receive a drilling operation.

1. When the option is checked, TopSolid also tests the collision between the item of detection of the operation, the part to be operated and the part which has the processes.

• Part(s) to operate: (only for drilling operations). Select the rule in the drop-down list:

• • Only last, the operation will only operate the farthest part regarding the operation frame like for example the tapping when inserting a screw.

  • Only first, the operation will only operate the nearest part regarding the operation frame like for example the clearance hole when inserting a screw.

  • Only intermediates, the operation will operate all concerned parts except the nearest and the farthest regarding the operation frame.

  • All: the operation will operate all concerned parts.

  • All but last, the operation will operate all concerned parts except the farthest regarding the operation frame like for example when you include a screw to fix several parts, the drilling is done on each part except the last one which has a tapping.

  • All but first, the operation will operate all concerned parts except the nearest part regarding the operation frame.  

  • All but intermediates, the operation will only operate the nearest and the farthest part regarding the operation frame.
