Inherit detailings elements

This command allows to inherit detailings elements define in the sub-assembly.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

From an assembly document, select the Others > Inherit Detailings Elements... command on contextual on an occurence.

 

  1. Choose how to name detailings.

  2. Validate.

 

 

 

  • Identical: Detailing will have the same name as the one define in the sub-assembly. If a detailing with the same name already exist in the assembly, a suffix will be added automatically.

  • Prefixed by occurence name: Detailing will have the same name as the one define in the sub-assembly and prefixed with the occurence name.

  • Prefix: Detailing will have the same name as the one define in the sub-assembly and prefixed with a name defined by the user.

 

 

Modifications / Additional information:

 

This operation creates copies of inheritable detailings available in the Detailings folder of the sub-assembly.

An inheritable detailing is a detailing where, for each linked entities, there is its equivalent into the occurence.
