This command allows to quickly include several components between 2 parts.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

This command is automatically launched when you include a family which provides the Kit Family driving.

 

 

 

  1. Select family to include.

  2. Select propagation direction of components.

  3. Select one of the 2 faces between the 2 parts to be assembled.

 

 

 

 

  1. Select family to include.

  2. Select propagation direction of components.

  3. Select parts to assembly (possibility to hide selected parts).

  4. Activate the Automatic update option to automatic detection of faces in contact.

 

  • The table grouping the pairs of faces allows you to delete them and / or modify their options.

  • When direction is modified or parts change, if the Automatic update option is activated, TopSolid will add new kits, delete those that are not necessary anymore, but keep the others with options define by user (inside/outside and reverse).

 

 

 

The Kit and Kit Family functions are available in the TopSolid library.

Modifications / Additional information:

 

The yellow handles allows you to modify the Inside/Outside and Reverse options, and the vertical handle also allows to invert the vertical positioning of the assembly kit.
