Clamp position management allows to define the rules for positioning the clamps.
The purpose of the function is to define the default clamp position based on the length of the support.

Operation

The function is presented as a configuration dialog allows to specify:
- The maximum length of the support
This values defines the maximum sheet length for which the associated clamp configuration is valid.
For each specified maximum length, a specific clamp configuration can be defined.

- Default clamp positions
For each configuration, it is possible to define the positions of the clamps.

The dialog also reminds the applicable safety rules:
- minimum distance between clamps
- allowed ranges for each clamp

Operation

The parameters defined in the clamp position management are automatically used when mounting the clamp in sheet metal machining.
