Material Equivalences

This document makes material documents equivalent. This makes it possible to consider different materials as identical. This document can be associated with the margin rules document.

Creation stages / Use:

1 - Reference materials (left box)

Defines the list of materials for which each will be given an equivalence list.

2 - Equivalent materials (right box)

For each reference material, define a list of equivalent materials.

Notes and best practices

This document is used to make equivalent materials to which you wish to apply the same parameterized over-dimensions called “margin rules”.
These margin rules are defined by a document in which you can define a material equivalence document.
