The lower part of the search too allows you to visual the results. The
results zones remain empty as long as the search has not been launched.
Configuration of the results zone:
By default, the results zone only contain three columns, each of which
has the title of a property:
"Name", "Description" and "Reference".
- Use the popup menu on the title of
one of the existing columns.
- Select "Standard".
- Use the sub-menus to select the property
of the new column.
You can widen or shrink a column
to see your results better:
- Place your pointer on the separation
line between the titles of two neighboring columns. The oblique
arrow will then become a double horizontal arrow.
- Drop and drag the separation line
as you please.

This icon allows you to change how results
are displayed, either in drop-down lists or as thumbnail images.

It is possible
to select a document from the results and drag it into an
assembly to assembly it. Double-click a
search result document to open it. The Search text field allows
to filter the content of the window by displaying only the
lines where the text is present (validate the entered text
with the Enter key
on the keyboard). A dynamic filtering
is possible entering text under the title of a column (validate
the entered text with the Enter key
on the keyboard). TopSolid then displays only the rows containing
the text entered in the selected column (only if the result
is displayed in columns and not in thumbnails). An advanced filtering
is possible using the Filter icon
 (only
if the result is displayed in columns and not in thumbnails). Possibility to
create groupings by dragging the title of a column into the
grouping area, above the title row (only if the result is
displayed in columns and not in thumbnails). |
