Text style

This command allows text styles to be created/modified that you can then use in different commands (text for a sketch, text for a title block, ...).

A text style allows to pre defined the font, the frame, the spacing line, ... of a text.

Creation Stages:

Select Tools > Styles > Text Style... command from the drop-down menu

Give a name to this new text style.

Select the basic style to use here. The values of the basic style will be proposed by default, you have to customize this configuration.

So that a text style is proposed by default in a command requiring it, you must select this cell.

Hypertext:

Allows to define if the text created with this style will be a hypertext or not.

If yes, select the hypertext type.

None

The text created with this style could be a hypertext but is not for the moment.

Pdm document

This option allows you to select a document from the pdm.from this hyperlink.

URI

This option allows you to enter a URL (email address, website, ...).

Small reminder, for the use of an email address, it must be preceded by mailto:

For a web site, you have to enter the complete address https://www.topsolid.com

Geometry:

Allows to modify the dimension geometry: Text and tolerance positions, dimension line definition, projection lines, ...

Extremities:

Allows to modify dimension extremities: leader style, size, ...

Modifying a text style used as a basic style by another style will automatically modify the latter.

Modifications / Additional information:

You can modify an existing text style through the entity tree. Display the Entities tree and open the Styles > Text styles folder. Right-clicking on the style allows you to edit it for the purpose of modifying it.
It is possible to copy/paste a style, in the same document, or in a new document of the same type. If this one is based on a style, it will also be pasted into the new document.
