Validate |
This command allows you to validate one object. This object will move to major revision.
Creation Stages / Use:
Select the Life cycle > Validate... command from the popup menu on one object.
When the confirmation window opens, validate.
In the case of a hardly in place assembly, it is synchronized with n parts. If the assembly is validta A and one of the part is modified, there are new major for the assembly and parts. When saving, the part really modified will have a revision B when all other parts will have A. - In some cases, A(1) is displayed because several majors have the same letter and TopSolid has to different them. (redirection, tree,...) - The analyze of the part is only be done when saving for performance reasons. The major is called A(i) by waiting the save. If the user has a doubt, he can save to see if A(i) becomes B or will stay with A(i).

This command can be used on a folder to validate all its contents. |

Available options:
Recursive:
By checking this box, when validating a project or a folder, TopSolid will apply the modification to all the documents contained in the project or folder. Otherwise the validation will only be applied to the selected element.
Validate last major revision and set obsolete previous ones:
By checking this box, if the object to be validated has several major revisions, TopSolid will validate the last revision and will automatically make all previous revisions obsolete.
You can do multiple selections by holding the CTRL key while selecting before validating. |
