In a Function document F2 , another function F1 can be used and completed. The function F1 is required to allow the function F2 to be used.

For example: In a function « Cap screw », we indicate that this function can only be provided if a function « screw » is alraeady provided (it is the required function). In the part providing «  Cap screw », we have two provided functions, « Screw » corresponding to the main function and « Cap screw » corresponding to the additional publishings linked to the "Cap" of the screw.

Creation stages / Use:

In a  Function document, select the Tools > Required function... command from the drop-down menu.

1. Choose the wanted function from the drop-down list.

2. Check or uncheck Create Parameters. If the option is checked, choose the parameters to be created in the list.

3. Validate.

4. In the Functions folder from the entities tree are all published entities and parameters of the required function. You have to edit and re-connect them to  valid entities of the created function document
