Flexion deformation |
This command allows to deform parts or faces by applying a flexion. To illustrate this flexion, we can imagine a part locked on one of its side and then rolled up on a cylinder. This deformation will be listed and usable by the deformation command.
Creation stages / Use:
Click on the icon or choose the command Construction > Deformations > Flexion Deformation... from the drop down menu.
Select the flexion axis.
Select the flexion origin point.
Give the flexion angle.
Validate by clicking .

TopSolid considers that on side of the element must be fix. So it is necessary to plan a part that will not be deformed. |

Initial part. The axis is bellow the part on the middle. The origin point for the flexion is on the middle as well. |

Available Options:
Unbend:
|
This option allows to apply the opposite deformation (equivalent to the use of a negative angle which is not supported by this command). |

Modifications / Additional information:
Each modification can be done using the popup menu from the operations tree.
It is possible to replace a deformation by another (for example a flexion by a torsion), by using the Replace contextual command in the operations tree.
