Sketch style

This command allows to create sketch styles which can be used with the attributes command or by selecting it in the right on the 2D sketch tab.

A sketch style allows to define the segment type, its thickness and its color.

Creation stages:

Select the Tools > Styles > Sketch style... command from the drop-down menu.

Name:

Enter a name for this new sketch style.

Current style:

Check this option if this new style must be proposed by default.

Basic style:

Select the basic style to use here. The values of the basic style selected will be proposed by default. You can then customize this configuration.

The sketch style modification used as main style by another style will automatically also modify this other one.
This style is also used in a drafting document.

Lines:

You can define the lines types thicknesses, types and color by checking Attributes. These modifications can be used for visible lines and smooth edges, Hidden lines and smooth edges and axes.

To delete the color, click on

This Half tone cell allows to use the half-tone of the selected color.(gray for black, ....).

Modifications / Additional information:

It is possible to modify an existing sketch style via the entities tree. Display the Entities tree and open the Styles > Sketch styles folder. Right-clicking a style allows you to edit it.
It is possible to copy/paste a style, in the same document, or in a new document of the same type. If this one is based on a style, it will also be pasted into the new document.
