Include Core Cavity
Blocks |
This command allows you to include in the Mold document an assembly
created with TopSolid'Split.
After the inclusion, the parts will be automatically considered as Core
Cavity Blocks and inserts. They are also automatically derived
for modification.

To
begin a mold study with a split
assembly:
- It is also possible to "drag
and drop" this assembly from the project tree to the
mold
document.
- It is also possible to create
a mold
document from the contextual
menu on the assembly in the project tree.

Creation
stages / Use:
Click the
icon or select the Mold > Include
Core Cavity Blocks... command the drop-down menu.
Select the assembly to include.
Validate .
The parts will be automatically derived for modification and considered
as Core Cavity Blocks and inserts.
Available options:

Occurrence name: It
is possible to name the included occurrence if the assembly
is included several times.
Document: The
split assembly document must be open before it can be selected.
Code:
Select the code if the
assembly offers one.
Copy publishings:
If publications have been created in the Split document that generated the
Split assembly,
it is possible to copy these publications into the Mold document.

- The
absolute frame from the Split document is systematically
copied and named Opening
frame.

Modifications / Additional information:
- A first assembly inclusion is by
default positioned with a Frame on frame constraint,
with the Opening Frame
defined in the Split
document as Source Frame, and the Absolute
Frame as Destination Frame.
- After a second inclusion, it is
needed to define the positioned Constraints.
- If layers
have been defined on the Parting
shapes in the Split document,
they are retained on the shapes of the parts included in the mold.
