Edit Hatching Lines |
This command allows you to edit the hatching of a part in order to modify them.
In general, the hatchings come from the choice of material, but in certain cases, a manual modification is necessary (spacing, angle, type of hatchings, ...).
Possibility to use a user hatching.
Creation stages / Use:
Select the popup command Hatching > Edit... from the hatching to modify.
You can modify them globally in the drafting (by selecting Part) or only in the selected view (by selecting Hatching Area).
Select the different hatching settings to modify.
Validate.
By default, hatches are defined regarding the material of the part.

Available Options:
Part: Hatching modifications for this part affect all cross section views of this plane.
All occurrences: Hatching changes apply to all other instances of this part in the plan.

This option allows to select a hatch type for this part.
This option allows you to modify the spacing and orientation of hatchings.
This option allows you to add an X and Y offset.
This option allows you to the color of hatchings. If the color is empty, the hatchings are displayed with the color of the part. In the case of a multi-shaped part whose shapes have different colors, TopSolid takes the first color. |
Hatching Area: The hatching modifications for this part only affect this view.
Uncheck the different options to restore the hatchings that came from the material. |
When there are only spacings and angles to change on all views (parts with the same material close to each other), use the Auto Hatching command. |
