Repetition

This command allows to repeat entities (with linear, symmetry, circular, ... pattern)

Creation stages / Use:

Click the icon or select the Construction > Patterns > Repetition... command from the drop-down menu.

Select the entities to be repeated.
Select the repetitions to be repeated.
Select the pattern to use.
Validate the command with the button

A repetition function can be clicked to "retrieve" the same pattern on the repetition of entities. For example, if a part on which is assembled a screw has several holes done by repetition, it is possible to click this repetition to repeat the screw.

If a component that has created its own process is repeated, make sure that the dialog is not pined. Otherwise TopSolid will not be able to automatically follow up with the repetition of the process

Available Options:

Hide:

The box allows to hide selected entities during the use of the command, to be able to select other entities more easily, especially those who were behind.

When you modify an already existing representation, the option is unchecked.
When creating a new representation, the option is checked.

Include original instance:

If an existing repetition is selected for this new repetition, this box allows to include or not the original instance of the repetition to repeat.

Create folders:

This option allows you to store the repeated entities in a specific folder. It is supported by the following entities: points, axes, planes, frames, sketches and shapes.
