This command allows to create Inserts shapes, according the Parting Shapes already designed.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Click the icon or select the Split > Inserts... command from the drop-down menu.

 

  1. You design the Insert in the same way than the Insert Surfaces, but at the end you got a solid shape.

 

 

The Insert housing is not done during the creation of the shape. You will have to create manually its process after the Insert validation (boolean operation as example).

 

 

  1. Once the design methodology chosen, you may have to select some Trimming faces. If needed, activate this mode and select the expected faces.

 

  1. Validate .

 

Modifications / Additional information:

 

In TopSolid'Split, sometimes it is not possible to create your Inserts only by using the Insert Surface operation. This function allows you another way to proceed.
