This command allows to create/modify dimensions table styles usable during dimensions tables creation.

The dimensions table style is a setting of a dimensions table (informations in columns, values, tolerance, ...).

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Select the Tools > Styles > Dimensions table style... command from the drop-down menu.

 

  1. Enter the name of the style.

  2. Select the information to display in your dimension table in the Available information list and then click on the green arrow in order to move them in the Selected information list

  3. Validate with the  button.

 

Available options:

 

- Index: get the index value of the dimension.

- Value: get the dimension value with its prefix and suffix.

- Minimum value: get the minimum value of a toleranced dimension.

- Maximum value: get the maximum value of a toleranced dimension.

- Tolerance: get the tolerance value as it is displayed in the dimension (Tolerance difference, Quality symbol,...).

- Comments: allows to add a editable column in the table, the comment value can be added manually.

- Page: get the page number where the dimension is located.

- Zone: get the location of the dimension text in the page (the location is given according to the letter and the number of the drafting border).

 

 

When a column uses the Comment information or a new column has been created by the Insert new column button, you have to use the Edit Table contextual command and then double click in the cell to modify in order to type the text.

 

 

When a dimension is deleted or removed from the table, the table indexes are not properly sorted, in this case, the Reinitialize Indexes allows to re-compute the index values.
