Selection Mode

 

 

 

 

 

These modes allow you to set the selection direction of the entities to the use of the rotating selection.

 

Use:

 

Select the mode to use:

 

Part (default mode): Only the selected entity is considered, the rotating selection will have no effect in this mode.

 

Assembly to Part: The entire assembly is detected and the rotating selection moves down in the structure to reach the part.

 

Part to Assembly: The part alone is found and the rotating selection goes back up to select the assembly.

 

Single Entity: Allows you to detect single entities, such as, for example, the shapes used to create the part, but also points, axes, planes, frames when visible. This mode can only be used with filters.
