Import TopSolid V6 Library

 

 

 

This command allows you to reconstruct a TopSolid 7 library from TopSolid V6 library files.

 

Creation Stages / Use:

 

Click the TopSolid button and use the File > Translators > Import TopSolid V6 Library... command.

 

  1. Select the folder that corresponds to the V6 library standard to import.

  2. Validate with the OK button.

 

 

This command will create explicit families without generic documents. These families only contain one code column with all V6 component codes (component settings are not found in this document).

 

  • To include a code from a V6 library import, you can drag the family to the assembly (TopSolid will ask you for the code to include) or drag the code directly. In the tree structure of the library, codes are situated under the affected family.

  • If your V6 component contains driver settings, they will not be recovered during import.
