Table parameter |
This command allows you to create a parameter changing either linearly or by intervals, depending on a source parameter.
Creation Stages / Use:
Click the icon or select the Construction > Parameters > Table parameter... command from the drop-down menu.
Choose the parameter type.
Enter the name of the parameter.
Choose the source type.
Enter the source value, an expression, or click on an edge.
Fill in the table.
Select the interpolation type.
Choose the creation mode for the parameter.
This command is very useful for creating a changing parameter depending on another parameter.
For example: If the part has a length less than 300mm, it has 3 holes, if the length is between 300 (not included) and 500, it will have 4 holes, etc.
In this case, the parameter created is the number of holes, the type of parameter is a factor, the type of source is a length, the value of the source is the length of the part (edge, parameter, etc.). Fill in the table as indicated below, the interpolation will be Constant to the left.
