This command lets you add an image to a plane or frame.
Creation stages / Use:
Click the icon or select Construction > Image... command from the drop-down menu.
Select a support plane.
Select the origin point on which the image will be positioned.
Select the horizontal direction of the picture.
Indicate the file path by using the button [...] .
Define the horizontal and vertical alignment of the picture according to the origin point.
Click on the blue arrow to continue.
Select two points and give a distance or give the width and height to resize the bitmap. The points can be directly clicked onto the graphic area without the need for using the points creation commands.
Click on the blue arrow to continue.
Select the reference direction for the orientation angle.
Click two points or give a rotation angle according to the reference direction. The points can be directly clicked onto the graphic area without the need for using the points creation commands. The rotation angle applied is the angle between the reference direction and the line defined by the two points. You can as well give manually the rotation angle value to apply according to the reference direction.
Click on the blue arrow to continue.
Select two points to define a translation vector or give an horizontal and vertical offset value to move the picture from its origin. The points can be directly clicked onto the graphic area without creating points.

The image is included in the TopSolid document. It will also be exported when creating a package. |
Available Options:
Make transparent:

This options allows to define a color to be considered as transparent into the bitmap. If you do not want to use a color transparency, click on |
Keep Aspect:
|
This option allows to keep the width/height ratio of the picture when changing its size. If the option is not activated, the picture can be dimensioned on both directions, but it gets deformed. |
Modifications / Additional information:
It can be modified either contextually on the image or from the operation tree.
