This command allows to export files with conversion in Ifc..
Creation stages / Use:
On a document, in the contextual menu, choose Import/Export > Export files with conversion...
Choose the type of format Ifc

Available options:
Schema Version:
|
Allows to choose the schema version to export (IFC2X3 or IFC4). |
Tolerance:
|
Allows to adjust the tolerances : surface and angular. |
Export triangle:
|
As some Ifc viewers are not able to read other faces than triangular faces, this option allows you to convert all the faces into triangular faces. This option increase the Ifc file size. |
Use Root Document:
|
When this option is unchecked, a structure by default will be created (Building/Floor) and the data will be exported in the floor by default. When this option is checked, TopSolid find the structure of root document imported and return this informations in the file to export. |
Others:

It is possible to choose what we want to export : representation or entities or set It is possible to choose which representation. It is possible to choose to export a Configuration or a Simulation |
Advanced:

Export parameters: this option allows to export all parameters, or system parameters only or none. Export TopSolid classifications: this option allows to export the classifications defined with Tools > Classification command. Export TopSolid Materials: this option allows to export single and multi-layer materials in entities of type Material Layer Set. |

- If products type existing only in version IFC4 are defined, TopSolid will export the document automatically in IFC4. - Some Viewer accept only files with triangles. |
