• A double click on a dimension component (dimension or projection line) allows to display handles coupled with reference geometries.

  • It is then possible to select a handle and slide it onto another geometry.

Available Options:

  • Prefix symbol: By checking this option, several prefix symbols are available: None, M, Ø, R, SØ, SR, ...

  • Prefix/Suffix: The fields Prefix / Suffix allow data to be customized.

  • Manual Text: Allows you to force the dimension text. A forced dimension text is highlighted in yellow.

This option allows you to add a tolerance to the dimension.

Three types of tolerance are available:

    • None: no tolerance

    • Manual: upper and lower deviation, display of deviation, envelop symbol.

    • Normalized: tolerance hole and shaft quality, display of deviations, envelope symbol.

Dimension / Tolerance:

  • Font:

Display the name and size of font used

Use the Font cell to activate the button and then modify the settings (font, style, size, effects, etc.).

  • Unit format:

Displays the number of decimals of the length and angle dimensions.

Use the Unit format cell to activate the button and be able to modify settings (number of digits, display of zeros).

  • Framing:

Allows to select a frame for the draft angle: None, underlined, framed, in an obround or in an arc.

This option allows to define settings of the parallel line.

  • The parallel line option allows to display or not the parallel line.

Without a parallel line

With a parallel line

  • Length allows to enter the length of the parallel line.

  • Offset allows to change the distance between the parallel line and the geometry to dimension.

Secondary dimension:

  • Allows to define the secondary dimension: position, font and unit, tolerances, prefix/suffix, symbols framings,...

Geometry:

  • Allows to modify the dimension geometry: Text and tolerance positions, dimension line definition, projection lines, ...

Extremities:

  • Allows to modify dimension extremities: leader style, size, ...

When an option is modified, its button remembers changes.

Modifications:

The use of the right button on an existing dimension allows:
