Simplified representation

This command creates a simplified representation. A simplified part is a part which has been stripped down visually to improve system performances. For example,on a full machine, there is no point representing 3000 screws with all details, (threading, etc.) a representation with an axis line is sufficient.

Creation stages / Use:

Select the Tools > Representations > Simplified representation... command from the drop-down menu.

There is no menu for this command. A Representations folder is automatically created in the entities folder, including a Detailed representation sub-folder and a Simplified representation sub-folder . Simply drop a shape or sketch which will represent the part in simplified mode from the corresponding folders in the entities tree to the Simplified representation sub-folder .
