Using the Mouse |
In order to get the best TopSolid'Pdm Explorer 7, scheme, it is highly recommended to use a 3-button mouse with a wheel on the center button.
Functions assigned to each button are described in the image below:

Button #1 (Left Button): Select an item (entity) or command from a menu or icon bar.
A double-click on a document opens it.
Click in the workspace and move the cursor while holding down the mouse button to achieve a rectangular selection. |
Button #2 (Wheel): When the cursor is in the workspace, turn the mouse wheel to zoom in or out. When the cursor is on a document tab, a click closes the document.
Click in the workspace and move the cursor while holding down the mouse button to rotate around a point. |

Button #3 (Right Button): Click in the workspace and move the cursor while holding down the mouse button to move (panoramic) in all directions. |
Using the 3D Mouse:
In order to facilitate view rotations and moves, TopSolid'Pdm Explorer 7 allows you to use 3D Connexion SpacePilot, SpaceTraveler et SpaceExplorer. To do this, simply install the most recent drivers for your device, connect the device to your computer and launch TopSolid'Pdm Explorer 7.
