Update

This command allows you to update assemblies that do not reference the last parts saved. In fact, if the assembly and one or more parts were checked outr for modification, the assembly and some parts were changed, and then the assembly checked in again while a part keeps being modified and saved, the assembly does not reference the last part saved and is not up-to-date.

Stages of use:

Click the Update icon in the popup menu on the project or a document which references other documents (like an assembly, a draft,...).

In the table:

Check the box in front of the documents to be updated.
- The Update column allows you to select or unselect documents to update.
- The Minor Revision column indicates which minor revision of the document to update.
- The Redirect column indicates whether or not the latest minor revision must be redirected. (will be done automatically.)
- The Not up-to-date column shows if the document is up-to-date or not.
Check Select all minor revisions to check all the documents.

Checking Select all minor revisions allows you to check all the documents in the list. If you uncheck this option, all documents will be unchecked.
Select the document (highlighted line) to display its preview at the right of the window.
By using the update function on the project, all out of date documents will be proposed.
Use the Verify updates command to display the list of the not up-to-date referenced documents, without modifing them.
