Back references mode: (This command is only available with the Back references command.)
|
This command allows you to filter the back references modes:
Another example about this last mode: Let an assembly Asm and a part Prt; with Asm.A.0 that has Prt.A.0 as reference (Prt.A.0 is included into Asm.A.0), but Asm.A.1 does not have anymore Prt.A.0 as reference (Prt.A.0 has been deleted from Asm.A.1). The references wil display: - Asm.A.1 => no reference - Asm.A.0 => Prt.A.0
The back references will display: - In mode "Back References" : Prt.A.0 => no back reference - In mode "Back references of minor revision" : Prt.A.0 => Asm.A.0
By asking for back references on Prt, the result displays all the back references of the last minor revision. The principle is to display by default the existing back references with the last state of the documents; but do not display the old back references of minor revision. To get the old back references you must use the mode "Back references of minor revision" in order to display the whole existing back references on older minor revisions.

Indirect: (This command is only available with the Back references command.)
|
For example, a part is used by an assembly which is used by a draft. There is no draft for this part. If you search the back references (type draft) of this part, nothing will be displayed.

Grouping:
|
By right clicking on a column title, it is possible to add other columns (project name, author, others, ...) These columns can be dragged in this box to group information. For example, if the column "project name" has been dragged, the back references or references are grouped by project. To remove this mode, just drag the column in the lower section of the window. This grouping only displays in flat mode. |
