Import TopSolid v6 - Draft document |
A TopSolid v6 draft document (.dft) is translated as a TopSolid 7 draft document. All created entities are basified as if importing an Autocad Dxf file. It means that the result of the translation is not the 2D projection result of the 3D document but basified lines and dimensions. The views are kept following the import.
The linked .top file can be imported at the same time by checking the Import linked file option. All used ".top" are imported as part or assembly documents. It is also possible to search if a document has already been imported and link it to the draft document.
If a modification is done in the 3d document, the draft will need to be updated. |
It is also possible to import the draft v6 by using the TopSolid'Pdf v6 interface. In this case, the imported file will be a pdf, which allows to have a perfect draft regarding the original to be able to print it. |
