This command allows to paste a document previously copied or cut from the same project or a different one with or without referenced documents.

Creation Stages / Use:

Open the project in which you want to paste the copied  or cut documents.

Select Special Paste... from the popup menu.

  1. Select the documents to take in account during pasting by checking them in the window.

  2. Validate.

  • Documents must have previously been copied or cut. The copied documents will be renamed Copy of..., the cut objects will be moved.

  • To paste the entities of a document (segments, operations, etc.) use the Edit > Paste function.

  • If the highlight is orange: The document is not in the project.

  • If the document is greyed : The document comes from a read-only library. The copy is possible, but the special paste doesn't allow you to select some of its referenced documents. For example, if you special paste a machine for the NC machine library, the copy is possible, but referenced documents aren't listed in the special paste window.

When a referenced document is not selected, pasted assembly documents refer to the initial document.

  • CTRL+A keys allow to select all. The space bar allows to check or uncheck all.

  • You can also use the Select all or Unselect all buttons.
