This parameter allows you to recuperate and make a link with a parameter from another document. For example if a part has a parameter, it is possible to reference it to an external parameter in the assembly that uses the part.

Creation Stages / Use:

Click the External Parameter icon.

1. Choose from the drop-down list having parameters, the document should be open.

2. Select a parameter to reference.

Modifications:

Modifications are possible from the Parameters folder in the entities tree.
